Peoples Savings Bank Announces Name Change to PSB Bank
January 9, 2026
Hermann, MO. — Peoples Savings Bank of Rhineland announced today that, effective January 1, 2026, the bank officially began operating under a new name: PSB Bank. The change is a name update only and does not affect the bank’s local ownership, leadership, employees, products, or day-to-day banking services.
While the name is changing, PSB Bank’s commitment to its customers and communities remains exactly the same. The bank will continue to be locally owned, financially sound, and focused on providing personalized service, conservative banking practices, and dependable stewardship.
“The decision to adopt the PSB Bank name reflects how our organization has grown over time, while staying true to the values that have guided us for more than 90 years,” said Mark Laune, President and CEO of PSB Bank. “This new name better represents who we are today and supports our long-term vision, without changing the relationships and service our customers expect.”
The name PSB Bank was chosen thoughtfully as the organization expanded beyond its original geographic roots. Customers will continue to work with the same trusted local team and access the same accounts, services, and digital banking tools they rely on today.
“We are proud of our history as Peoples Savings Bank of Rhineland, and that legacy will always be part of who we are,” Laune added. “PSB Bank positions us well for the future while remaining firmly committed to the communities we serve.”
PSB Bank looks forward to continuing to serve customers with the same care, integrity, and local focus that have defined the bank for generations.
