Whether you’re looking for details about your accounts, your new debit card, or online banking, you’ll find clear answers to the most common questions below. General Questions
What does this merger mean for me?
You’ll now be a customer of Peoples Savings Bank, a locally owned, community-focused bank that offers expanded services, more locations, and enhanced digital banking — all while keeping the same personal service you’re used to.
Will I still work with the same farmbank team?
Yes. The same familiar employees will continue serving you. Only the name of the bank is changing — not the relationships you rely on
Accounts & Checks
Will my account number change?
Most account numbers will stay the same. You will receive a new routing number: 081508466. If your account number needs to change, we will have contacted you directly.
Do I need to order new checks?
You can continue using your current checks. If you’d like new PSB checks, your local branch can provide a free box (or a free pack of 50) when you bring in your old checkbooks.
Will my direct deposits and automatic withdrawals continue?
Yes. These will update automatically through a Notice of Change. If you prefer to make updates yourself, provide companies with the new PSB routing number.
Debit Cards
Will I get a new debit card?
Yes. farmbank debit cards will be replaced with a Peoples Savings Bank Debit Mastercard®.
Do I need to update subscription services?
Yes. Any automatic payments tied to your old debit card — like Netflix, Amazon, insurance, or utilities — will need to be updated with your new card information. This helps avoid declined payments or interruptions.

Online & Mobile Banking
Will I need to enroll in PSB Online Banking?
Yes. farmbank customers will complete a simple re-enrollment. Your existing username will stay the same, and you’ll create a new password on your first login.
Will my transaction history carry over?
Yes. Your past activity will appear in your new PSB online banking profile, including up to two years of statements if you previously used e-statements.
Will my online bill pay information transfer?
Bill payees and scheduled payments will not automatically transfer, so you will need to re-enter these in PSB’s online banking. Our team is ready to help if needed.

Loans
What happens to my loan(s)?
Your loan will continue as usual and you’ll still work with a local lender. Letters with specific loan details will be mailed to you, but no action is needed on your part.
Savings, CDs & IRAs
Will my interest rate change?
Current rates on CDs and IRAs will remain the same until maturity. Savings rates are subject to change — contact us with specific questions.
Will my CD or IRA renew normally?
Yes. They will automatically renew at maturity, just like before. PSB will also become your new IRA custodian, and we may reach out to confirm beneficiaries or information.
